Tommy will remind mech-team and schedule an integration decision-making meeting near end of May
For now, sub-teams should prepare assembly and integration plans. These clearly outline their own respective procedures for assembly and what type of human access is required to properly install it.
It is also useful to note whether this is a one-time installation or it will frequently need to be accessed and maintained.
If it needs to be frequently accessed, we will likely hold off on assemblies that go afterwards until the latest occasion before we actually race. But this is just a very gentle suggestion

Introduction
The resources on this page should help the reader understand:
the order that things are installed in
what each installation/project is blocked by
a general idea of when a project can begin being installed
The general decision-making of integration order will be based on:
Convenience of Access - items that, once installed, would prevent access to a large portion of the vehicle will be installed later in the timeline
Scale of Project - larger installations should be completed first because it requires more access and intensive installation processes, e.g. welding, that most projects should not be excessively exposed to
This investigation will help members understand:
specifically when their project absolutely needs to be completed and ready
specifically what their project is blocked by and when their project can be installed

Note: This information does not define timelines, but helps to define feasibility of timelines. E.g. Integration investigation has found that project X can be installed beginning Fall 2020. |
Approach to Solving
We will be re-using the Chassis Mounting Reservations Resources as much as possible since that previous cross-team effort was able to gather the notes and live testimonies of each sub-team and what would be installed into the car/chassis
This is because we already know what exists inside the chassis from the previous meeting
Confluence Page of referred to Confluence Page: Chassis Mounting Reservations - Mechanical - Confluence (atlassian.net)
First, each member would insert slides into the Chassis Mounting Reservations slide deck if their part has not yet been documented
Secondly, each member would fill out their estimations regarding:
the pre-requisite items that they need for their project to be installed
what circumstances would prevent their project from being installed
After the slides are completed, Tommy Tran will review the slide deck to provide some feedback or more information regarding the relevant context of each project’s installation information. Hopefully at this point, Tommy Tran can lay out all the information and be able to deduce the order of integration, and general due dates of each project
Tommy Tran will send out a revised version of the Chassis Mounting Reservations slide deck and incorporate any feedback from members

Members are required to fill out the orange integration document that follows/proceeds/exists after their chassis mounting reservations slide.
Documentation of Sub-Team Assemblies:
Feel free to link your project’s documentation regarding integration + assembly in the case someone is interested in learning the specific details of your project.
