Here is a great tutorial from SimScale on performing CFD on a car. It’s essentially the exact same process as what we do, although for simplicity sake we do not apply moving walls on the wheels.

CFD 101 F24:

**Note: Halve the frontal area if you are simulating half of an aerobody, otherwise if you use the whole frontal area value, your Cd will be 1/2 what it should be. You will also have to double the drag force value, as we only sim half of a car.
