Force is applied to the hole which the brake cable is connected to. The inner hole size is 7/16” based on specs from the Lokar Universal Emergency Brake Cable Manual. The outer diameter of the split line is 18mm20.2mm. Varying amounts of force will be applied until yield strength is reached to find its max-loading case.

For some reason after running FEA, my part became 2D, if anyone knows why this is please help!
