Solar cars must have lighting as outlined below. All lights required in this regulation shall be at least as bright as the reference standard defined in Appendix C from 30 m away throughout the required viewing angles as defined below. Inspection for the viewing angles and light intensity can be conducted at any point within the defined distance and view angles.
