This page will illustrate the Nomura MPPT Testing performed on November 6th, 2022.
MPPT Efficiency Testing with Load
During this test, we tested what input voltages achieve the greatest power efficiency. We connected a digital power supply to the MPPT input and from the output we connected it to a digital load.

From the results we see that input with around 26V will give us the best power efficiency.
MPPT Efficiency Test with Batteries
For this experiment, we connected a DC power supply to a MPPT input and connected the output to 8 battery cells (rated at 4.2V each) connected in series.

For this experiment we can also see that around 26V input power, will give us the best power efficiency. It also looks like all values within the MPPT’s rated voltage (10V - 30V), provides an acceptable power efficiency.
