Started with randomly finding them on Digi-Key, realized that I should probably have a more systematic way of searching, and am currently going through different manufacturer websites, looking at MCUs with CAN-FD support, and selecting those with a unit cost less than $15~$15. Probably will be a lot more organized later.

  • NXP: MCUs that support CAN FD don’t seem to have an internal DAC

  • Microchip: Have checked 32-bit cores, don’t seem to have 32-bit dual cores that support CAN interface, need to check 16-bit dual core options next
