Note: Due to the compact nature of the catamaran cover, the locations of the internal components have been defined and must be strictly followed to avoid unwanted interference. Before permanently fastening/epoxying a part, refer to the master CAD assembly to ensure spacing is correct.
- Outer Enclosure
Once all the fibreglass parts have been made, label each part with masking tape.
Check to see if sizing is correct and that edges, corners and faces line up as intended.
BB & RE Side Walls (Refer to master CAD)
Mark locations of all ribs, cam covers and wall brackets with masking tape.
BB & RE Bottoms (Refer to master CAD)
Mark locations of all internal components (battery modules, heat set mounts, support walls, rear elec, fans)
- Lid Latches
Set three of the latches to open CCW and the other three to open CW.
Secure the latches to the lid with rubber washers on both sides.
Latches on the left side of the lid will open CCW.
Latches on the right will open CW
