2x Tie Rod subassemblies required for steering assembly.

  1. Rod end assembly:
    Put #4 onto the threads of #2 with the flat side facing away from the bearing. Twist the nut onto till approx 14mm from the end of the thread, do not tighten. Repeat this for the other tie rod.

  2. Tube assembly:
    Weld (welding is usually outsourced to someone who can weld, ask DRI about welding) #3 to #1 on both sides .

  2. Put the rod end assembly from step 1 and the tube assembly from step 2 together by inserting the rod end into threads of #3.

  3. Adjust the rod end, nut, and tube until there is one thread to the left of the nut, then tighten the nut onto the tube side (highlighted).

  4. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other rod end assembly from step 1.
