We also mostly use even-numbered fasteners, e.g. M4, M6, M8.
I think we absolutely hate M5’s because it is often mistaken for its imperial equivalent and then ruins the existing threads when they are jammed in assuming they were the correct ones.
Make sure fasteners in assemblies are appropriately chosen according to ASC regulations (10.4 Fasteners)
Know your material grades; do some quick research because the Spaenaur manual may not always use the same terminology or material grades as shown in ASC regulations
